I can read your mind

Don't think sorry's easily said
Don't try turning tables instead
You've taken lots of chances before
But I ain't gonna give anymore
Don't ask me
That's how it goes
Cos part of me knows what you're thinking
Don't say words you're gonna regret
Don't let fire rush to your head
I've heard the accusation before
And I ain't gonna take anymore
Believe me
The sun in your eyes
Made some of the lies worth believing

I am the eye in the sky
Looking at you
I can read your mind
I am the maker of rules
Dealing with fools
I can cheat you blind
And I don't need to see anymore to know that
I can read your mind

Don't leave false illusions behind
Don't cry I ain't changing my mind
So find another fool like before
Cos I ain't gonna live anymore believing
Some of the lies while all of the sign are deceiving

I am the eye in the sky
Looking at you
I can read your mind
I am the maker of rules
Dealing with fools
I can cheat you blind
And I don't need to see anymore to know that
I can read your mind

What women want.

Not all women want what we think they want. They may want what we think they don't want but want what they think we think they want what we think they don't want.

What do we really want in life?

One day you are here. The next? You might be not. What Jin said is absolutely true. "Does it matter? It doesn't matter, really, as long as you are having fun, as long as you are still living..." This sentence I've taken from his blog really strike a chord. Full post here: http://jinzos.blogspot.com/2008/10/good-new-days.html

Went for a medical checkup today at IMH's temporary "Hougang Polyclinic" in the morning at about 9:30am. Been having persistent chest pains and breathing difficulties when I am angry, agitated or laughing too much or playing soccer too streneously , so I wanted to check it out.

Ultimately the ECG test says --> Outcome - Sinus Rythym -- Sinus Arrhythmia

I was like what in the blue hell is that. So I sms Ting to check it on Google for me.
Results are:

http://www.mamashealth.com/arrhythmia.asp

I don't know how serious this is. But hmm, as far as I can recall, I have been having this problem since I was in primary school. After so many years, and I am still living a great life, I guess I can live with it. A friend of mine also has this prob, he said as long as I chill, I can live forever. Yes, forever. :D

Things I have to stop doing:
  1. (Worst of all) No more soccer.
  2. No more coffee and tea.
  3. No more sauce. (No idea what sauce)
  4. No more getting angry over stupid things.
  5. No more shouting screamo style when jamming.
  6. No more guitar power stances and vigorous shaking.
  7. No more laughing at people's lame jokes to make them feel better.
Things I have to start doing:
  1. (Most important!) CHILL!
  2. Eat more greens.
  3. Just enjoy life and stop stressing!
Life rocks. :D

Shiznits.

Dang, its only Wednesday.

Wednesdays always feels like crap. Work at office has been a total bore. been reading D.Grayman at www.mangafox.com in order to pass my time faster. Also started playing a web based Virtual Stock Exchange system to learn about stock investing without losing real money due to the fact that I do not know how it works. Started with a portfolio of $1,000 to play around. Because the rates and quotes are based on the REAL thing, I believe its a good experience. Made a profit of $81.17 on my first try, pretty lucky.

I have also created a game for friends who wants to join me. The starting portfolio is $10,000. Lost 13% of my "money" already. Jin is the leader now but still making a loss.

Spark of brilliance.

Thursday! Feels good as tomorrow is Friday. It is only 10+ am but I finally found the solution to the problem I had in my program. I only thought of the ultimate solution 2 weeks later! But I am just so glad its solved as the deadline is tomorrow. Primitive programming languages like VB6 really seem to have a lot of limitations, but if you know the syntax and methods, its actually pretty powerful. Its good to have knowledge on those "retro" languages as most large companies still use them due to the fact that it is too tedious to change the entire company's structure and stuff.

Wednesday was fun. Supposed to go to the Singapore Flyer with Bubu to do some voluntary work, helping and guiding kids if they are lost but instead after traveling all the way there we decided to give it a pass as the people in charge told us that they ran out of the T- shirts we are supposed to wear. With the main intention of helping out "voluntarily" for the sake of the free T - shirts and knowing that we will not have the T - shirts, we decided not to help! So we went back to Hougang area to get our hair done and went to spend some quality time together. Bubu's getting rounder, because she eats too much. But fret not, just watch your diet a little bit and it will be fine. Don't worry too much okay. Anyway I like your new fringe. Makes you look cute, haha.

Random: Electricity bills to increase by 20%.
So typical. First, the government makes its citizens feel so loved by giving out "Growth Dividends" and GST credits. Then the next thing you know, price hikes here and there. So, whenever they start giving "freebies", you will know that in the next few weeks or months to come, you are going to lose more money. Transport fees will surely go up again sooner or later. Everything will increase as long as the current government is in charge. They do not look out for their citizen's interests. When I say citizens, I refer to those who are real Singaporeans not those god-damned China immigrants and the likes. All they want is money, we Singaporeans are losing our precious job positions everyday with the Government happily "opening their doors" to foreign talents. I do not believe that doing so benefits the locals' interests, just the government pockets. Then comes the propaganda. They show those half-assed TV shows on Singaporeans living abroad and their thoughts which obviously, are lies. "I miss the busy and bustling life in Singapore." Bla bla bla. You got to be kidding me. How much they paid you to say that? They want us to have a sense of belonging for our country when they are indirectly chasing us away to find "greener pastures" overseas. The amount of dissatisfaction I have personally against the government is immense. National Day rally speech? It makes me laugh, the whole thing's a joke! Especially those half-assed answers they give. Its amazing how some people really fall for that. Just can't wait to evacuate this god-forsaken island that they call a country.

Just my 2 cents.

Well, back to coding and debugging.

SIGH.
